In 2024, Chicago-based comedian Simon Collier wanted to try something different. He had spent many years on stages around Chicagoland performing improv, stand-up, and sketch comedy. Each stage had a “right way” and a “wrong way” to perform comedy; Simon just wants to be a silly goose.

After tossing the idea around with friends, Simon created HONK! Comedy. A comedy collective that values silly, playful, and irreverent humor. The only ethos the collective follows is: When we’re chasing the funny and making magic happen, everyone has fun!
